Day 2: December 21, 2008 My new thing for day 2 : We participated in the 'Uncertain Floating Christmas Parade' on Caddo lake on Sunday. This is something that they have every year. Decorated boats meet at different areas on the river and travel down to Johnson's Ranch were they have float judging, a band and lots of fun! This was our first year to participate and we really did not know what to expect but now we know that we are going to have to step up our game for next year! Some of the people went ALL out on their floats. It was 41 degrees and luckily K backed out of going on the boat at the last minute!! She opted to ride in the warm truck down to Johnson's Ranch with Kristi and Granny and watch from the shore! Granddaddy and I got smart along the parade route and chose to ride back to the cabin with them! It was a lot of fun! I just hope next year it is a little warmer!!!
